Here is the card that I made for my husband's birthday!
I wanted to make something fun and bright and I got the idea for the colors from the Stampin' Up! catalog page 37. I used tempting turquoise, tangerine tango and kiwi kiss (and whisper white).
I stamped the little party hats several timeson whisper white cardstock with turquoise, tangerine, and kiwi ink. I cut out the hats and they are popped-up with dimensionals. I ran the whisper white panel through the big shot with the small polka dot texturz plate, I spritzed the cs with water beforehand so that the dots would show-up more. The buttons are from Fresh Favorites I and Button Bouquet, and they are adhered with sticky strip.
Thanks for looking!

Okay. I have to tell you this story. As I was looking through the cards on each page, before I opened yours up for a closer look, I thought the hats were strapless dresses! LOL!!! My daughter had just asked me tonight to make her four cards to send to close friends which she can use to ask them to be her bridesmaids. So when I saw the "strapless dresses" it occurred to me that I have a stamp set (simply sweet, SU, 03) that had dresses in a row and would be perfect for the cards my DD wanted made. I found the stamp set, put it aside, then clicked on your card and started laughing when I found out it was party hats and they were for your DH's birthday card!!!
Great card, love the colors, and Happy Birthday to your DH. And thanks for the inspiration! lol
