I was inspired to make this card from page 85 of the Stampin' Up! Spring-Summer 2009 Idea Book & Catalog. I loved the colors and layout of this card, so I adapted them to the stamp set and card size that I wanted to use.
I inked up the floral image from Thoughts & prayers with my old olive and so saffron SU! markers. I then stamped the image on shimmery white cs. The sentiment is stamped directly on the kraft cs with chocolate chip ink. I added the row of piercing next to the sentiment and above the main image panel. I used a piece of the so saffron 5/8" grosgrain ribbon (that was one of the Sale-A-Bration rewards) across the lower right corner, and put a 5/8" choc. chip jumbo brad through it.
This was a pretty easy card to make, the hardest part was getting the image inked-up.
I also stamped the inside of the card!
Thanks so much for taking a peek!
