Ok, so I got the right paper and I tried a new way of doing this. So far, so good. This is a birthday card for a friend, that like me, loves dragonflies. I brayered the BG, used Black StazOn for the grasses, stamped the dragonfly on white cs, eb with silver and colored in the blanks spots on the wings with glitter pen. I cut out an extra set of wings and attached to the body to give it more dimension. As hard as I tried I could not get the card stock to photograph right, the main card is a Navy Blue Linen, (not brown) and the mat is tan. This dragonfly is part of a set given to me by my awesome sister Pat Smethers. It is an Anna Griffin, (whose stamps I love, second only to SU). I couldnÂ’t wait to try it along with my desire to get this brayer thing figured out. It is still a work in process, but this one works for now.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Judy Judy Judy! I think you've got it! This is lovely! How creative to do two sets of wings. Sometimes I have the same issues with my digital; distorted colors but what ever, this is gawgus!

Wow, you got lucky with the paper Judy, but you still added your "savoir faire". Did so fine here, love the dragonfly in gold. Just a treasure filled card. ROCKING!
