The challenge for this weekÂ’s TSC was to use Brown, Blue and Gold, with a punch and doodle.
This was indeed a challenge as I just discovered the Michelle Zindorf web site and went wacko over her cards. That being said, I tried and tried and then tried several more times to do the Brayer technique. Asked my buddy Tater for advise, then tried some more..this was the best one in my opinion. I actually gave up any ideas of my own and went straight for casing her card - Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
Then I sought professional help from my little sister Jenny at Creative Cards. Seems I might have been using the wrong paper, oh well, no turning back now it is what it is. I will eventually get this, if I live long enough.
Also, I rubber stamp because I can't draw a stick figure, so doodling was a challenge too. Hope you like ‘my inch worm'. Thanks for looking, and any advice is greatly appreciated.

I love this Judy! It is not easy to brayer for me either and I tried it a couple of times, but couldn't tell here that you are not an expert at it, this is so perfect! Love the little inch warm too. You got that challenge so good, oh and thanks for the dibs on the challenge, I had no idea what it was, being off SCS more than on this week. Love your card, you're good. TFS

Brayering. Yeah, AGH! Sis, I just can't do it, so your card is even more amazing to me! Geez, I would not have tried that hard- your card was totally worth the effort! I love the flowers, and your lil 'dinner' is great! Lol- not bad for a 'stick-figure drop out'! (Don't worry, I can't do that either!) The texture on your paper adds so much elegance to the bird. Completely beautiful sis! LYMI-IRL

Wow Judy!!!! Brayering is beautiful! I love how you incorporated Michelle's techniques and made this scene your own. You are exploring all your options and that is good. Feedback from all your sources and then you used the advice too!!! Great Job. The gold cording accents really sets this creation apart from all the rest! Stick figures???? We don't need no stinkin stick figures........WE GOT STAMPS!!!!!! Oh and CuttleBugs!!! Also loved your doodling!

Beautiful work with the brayering Judy!!! A fun and lovely card - initally I was afraid to see what that bird of prey was after.. it was a comfort to know it was just little inch worm and not a carcass of some kind!! ;) Really a lovely card!!!
