1. I love this teapot! It's so artsey, fartsey! I finally bit the bullet and decided to feature it on a Tuesday. I have been putting off doing it because I know I am not artsey, fartsey like it is! And one look at the pear on my card and the whole world knows I am not artsey fartsey as well! I may be desparate, but I am thinking that my pear looks better standing up instead of the way I painted it even though it makes the grapes look like they are hanging sideways! That's why I have two pictures of it with the teapot on my glob!
2. As a matter of fact, I am a little nervous about this teaparty. The teapot is featuring fruit, the tea party hostess has no ability to paint, and the tea potters coming to the party are normally a little on the rowdy side! To be prepared for the worst I had a real professional paint me some signs to post (one in every room) that says, Do not throw rotten fruit at the hostess! I hope it works but just to be safe, I have hired two left over body guards to stand at the front and back door whose sole purpose is to confiscate bags of fruit that have been brought for the sole purpose of hurling through the air at the hostess cuz her art is so bad! Snort!
3. My best advice to all of you! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!! Okay, my next sentence is where I sound artsey, fartsey. Here it goes. I used acrylic paints on my card! Woot!!
If you would like to join us in our teaparty you can get the details and see the rest of the Teapot Tuesday cards on my glob.

Awww Cindy how you make me smile. Your story does it every single time! I just love the teapot and get the idea of it not being in my range either...but yours is sooo pretty.
I love it girl! Have to take a peek at the blog to see it bigger. I'll be joining soon. I will be carrying blueberries, raspberries and blackberries too. Not that I have any intentions of hurling them at anyone, I hear they contain good antioxidants and since Dawn is eating healthy, I thought of bringing them along for her. (Tee hee, now you know that's a lie. LOL) TFS honey!

Cindy, great job with the artsy fartsy painting on your card. I could bring the beano and we could take care of the fartsy part, because you definitely nailed the artsy part. I like your card with the pear pointing up. I know the teapot has it sideways, but that just seems wrong to me.

Cindy, I think your card is awesome!! I can sort of understand your feeling about the pear, but I don't think it looks bad at all!! If you look at the pear on the teapot long enough, it kind of looks odd on it's side too.
I really hope to get to play today.... this one is going to be hard though, because I know that I don't have any fruit stamps. And I'm not sure I would ever be able to post anything that I actually painted!!
Great job with your teapot card. I love the colors and the shine. It looks identical to the teapot!!

Your card is absolutely gorgeous! You are soooo artsy-fartsy! The fruit looks so good you could eat it. I love the little teapot too! What a fantastic card and a wonderful challenge!
