1. I love this teapot! (see my other picture!) It's so artsey, fartsey! I finally bit the bullet and decided to feature it on a Tuesday. I have been putting off doing it because I know I am not artsey, fartsey like it is! And one look at the pear on my card and the whole world knows I am not artsey fartsey as well! I may be desparate, but I am thinking that my pear looks better standing up instead of the way I painted it even though it makes the grapes look like they are hanging sideways! That's why I have two pictures of it with the teapot on my glob!
2. As a matter of fact, I am a little nervous about this teaparty. The teapot is featuring fruit, the tea party hostess has no ability to paint, and the tea potters coming to the party are normally a little on the rowdy side! To be prepared for the worst I had a real professional paint me some signs to post (one in every room) that says, Do not throw rotten fruit at the hostess! I hope it works but just to be safe, I have hired two left over body guards to stand at the front and back door whose sole purpose is to confiscate bags of fruit that have been brought for the sole purpose of hurling through the air at the hostess cuz her art is so bad! Snort!
3. My best advice to all of you! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!! Okay, my next sentence is where I sound artsey, fartsey. Here it goes. I used acrylic paints on my card! Woot!!
If you would like to join us in our teaparty you can get the details and see the rest of the Teapot Tuesday cards on my glob.

Well if you are NOT artsy fartsy then I don't know anyone that IS. This is terrific. I would think that acrylics are hard to work with. I have never even tried. Great card and a gorgeous pot. I have all my healthy fruit packed. Super job..

Your acryllic work is FABULOUS, especially the white accents, and I LOVE your tutti fruiti teapot!

So glad you pulled out this artsey fartsey teapot for today! Really liking that you used acrylic paints too! You have made a gorgeous card here. Now about this party, gambling! I didn't read the part about poker! That schirmcat is one shady character. Better keep an eye on that one! Thanks for all the fun on Tuesdays! Great card! TFS :0)

Watch out Cindy! You just missed that banana peal, I think its MariLynn's, she's just not fessing up to it. (I wouldn't either). Oh, by the way, you don't happen to have any of those bandaids left over from the bunny party? You know what I'm talking about. I've seemed to have burned my left thumb on that melted crayon technique. The iron only needs to be on low, learn from me. I just love that you pull out all the stops on your TT cards. You even painted. My oh my and it is gorgeous. I love that you put the embossing powder on it for that shine. Magnificent, (as usual). Thanks for the lovely party. Always fun.

You know your card is really art gallery worthy. It's beautiful and looks yummy too! I will be watching out for banana peels and poker chips, and angry gorillas. These parties are just too much fun!
