"The Sound of Music" is on this evening Easter Sunday on ABC Family Channel. A wonderful movie for all ages.
I recently reviewed the film "The Sound of Music". This film was a favorite when I was a child. I was moved to create this card, not to offend, I used its creation to try to sort out in my own mind and heart what the world went through during that difficult time. The film has a powerful message of hope, desperation, and help through self-sacrifice. I strongly recommend dusting it off and viewing it with your family.

In all my years with SCS I have never seen one artist create so much attention in such a short time. I'm starting to get jealous of your stats - # of views and comments. I see nothing more here than images depicting what the movie "Sound of Music" was about and who could argue, a more beautiful movie has never been made. You have a wonderful eye for collage, something I do not. Many a great artist has been contraversial from time to time.

The problem is how to remain an artist once the child grows up.

Well said,as usual, Rainsong. It always amazes me how bitter and angry some people are. If we continue to ignore or cover up the ugly parts of history, we are doomed to repeat them. I think you have a very unique style and I think you have captured many of the underlying themes of the movie. Keep on creating!

I like this card and your other work. I really appreciate the collages as I find them extremely difficult to create. Keep it up!

I too like the small canvas of an ATC to express one's creativity. This appears to be a series, as I noticed the 0X on several of your cards. It would be helpful to have a little info about your work in the description.
I also like your quote in your profile: People who judge have not time to love
Your work is artistic and beautiful. It's nice to see some truly original work for a change. I'm sorry you've gotten some heat about it. You might also consider posting on craftster.org, as the majority of members over there tend to be a little more open to originality. But please don't leave SCS!
Also, I'd love to see some comments about how your looks are achieved and what goes in to each piece. Thanks for sharing!
