Oh dear. I just went into my profile to edit my signature line and saw your note! I'm so sorry for not having noticed it before.
Thank you so much for your kind words.
As for strength, I have enough to get through the day and do the things I simply must do--feed the dog, let her out, feed the cats, let them in, and that's about it.I talked to another lady last week who lost her husband 18 months ago to Alzheimer's. She works at the pharmacy we use (and who provided all hospice medications), so I knew she had struggled for a good while with her husband's illness. I asked her if it got any easier because even three months after my husband's death, the pain is nearly unbearable. Unfortunately, she said no. So, I'll keep on doing what I must and try and push myself out of this gutter of self-pity and pain.

Hi Rainsong..I have read your messages on the board concerning your husband.
I wanted to tell you I feel heartbroken reading them. I can see you love your husband very much. I just wanted you to know I am thinking about you and wish you the strength for the future.
