The teapot this week is actually a pillow, not a teapot. But the pillow has a teapot on it!
This one was kinda hard for me.... I looked and looked, and I didn't have any stamps with a teapot or a mug. Then I remembered about the house, so I looked and looked again, but didn't come up with anything that would work. So I almost was going to do birdhouses, then I came across this watering can stamp, and the bottom checked border reminded me of the pillow, so I went with that!
The two background layers are both heat embossed. I wanted to give it a look of tapestry fabric.

OMG! Kris, what an adorable card! I just love the stiching! It is so the pin cushion! No matter that you didn't have the things you didn't have, look what you created without them! I love the colors..Stitching rub ons? How cool is that!
Hey, you are no dummy. If a pillow fight breaks out, you can easily get everyone's attention by giving them a little sprinkle or two! Snort! You know I love the black and white polka dotted ribbon! This card rocks!
So happy to have you again and thanks for the link!

Very cute Kris, how I love how we get inspired and use our pretty little grey cells and come up with preciouse cards like this one. Very pretty water can I might add. Beautiful embossing and ribbon, our hostess's favorite, polka dots. TFS and did you by any chance find the whip cream...

Your embossed backgrounds are super. I love your little watering can - it is so countrified! And you ought to get extra points (or an extra brownie) for that polka dot ribbon. Wonderful teapot card!

Oh, I think the watering can is perfect. What with the checked border, and the fact you can pour from it, and the sort of folk feel. It's just right for the tea-party, and a great card.
