I started out trying to recall the techniques I learned from Sandi Obertin, the designer of this cat stamp and tool stamp, years ago. I still haven't got it quite right, but I think I arrived at a few usable cards (many didn't make the cut). See my other similar card posted simultaneously for "how to" regarding the stamping. This one was 'misted' slightly before stamping. The So Saffron CS was sponged around perimeter; butterflies stamped with versamark & brushed with Pearl Ex. White dots are white gel pen. Brown dots are copic.

I don't know which is my favorite. Both the kitties are spectacular. They (the kitties and the cards) are beautiful. A note about the details... I like the white and brown dots. They add a nice finishing edge. I thought I detected some of the bark paper... very cool stuff.
