I combined a bunch of challenges with this. My main goals: Clean and simple card in under 30 minutes in a small form factor (to go with gift, not a standalone card).
I saw this sketch on the Card Positioning Systems blog, and loved it. My LSS just got the new TH stamps in and when I saw these sets, I knew what I wanted to do.
I masked the strongest colored butterlfy and added the images directly above and below without re-inking, to achieve a ghost-like effect. I brushed Memento's silver dewdrop ink onto the butterfly and re-stamped the main image lightly for the rimmed silver. The smaller butterflies offer a green-blue color from Colorbox chalk inks.
To add a little shimmer, I versamarked the TH flower trellis image on top of the dried sentiment, added embossing powder and heat embossed. You can see a hint of the trellis in the picture.
