I have received so many RAKS and BRAKs this past month that I wanted to ink some up!!!!
The sentiment is written with a black marker.
The Rubber Stamp store image is a RAK from the lovely and sweet Anne Ryan and the couple is a BRAK from the ever darling Marilynprestonn! Ladies, thank you so very much for being my enabler!!!!!! :P
When I received the couple, one of my first thoughts was she was explaining to him that she needed buy something! As I went through all of my other images to see what I could put together with this couple, I came across Anne's Rubber Stamp store. Now, how many of us keep telling our hubbies that "We DO need more stamps!!!" ? I know I do!!!! LOL!
I stamped a sky with Colorbox sky blue and my handmade cloud template. I sponged the "street" with Colorbox light brown and SU itty bitty bg. I colored the images with colored pencils. I used Glossy Accent on the store windows for a shine. I drew (not very well) other buildings on the street.
I cut out the couple and pop dotted them up. Can't you just hear her trying to convince him that she needs more stamps????
What do you think?

Betcha they weren't as expensive as ours are today. LOL Funny and clever idea Lesley, I just love to know a stamp of mine and Anne's are together on a same card. The magic of sharing huh! Well, yeah, the fact is I'm trying to convince myself that I don't need more stamps...
Great coloring and love the writing, as you know I do alot of writing on my cards too. Great layout. TFS

Oh Lesley, how wonderful is this! Love the awning on the shop and love that couple casually strolling past the rubber stamp store. Now that's the way things should always be. Great card.

Boy if I had these stamps I'd make the same card. I need more stamps - no truer words were ever spoken. I just adore this. I might have to plead w/ Anne and Ms. Prestonn to send me these images!!! Fav'd GF.
