This is a card I made for CC206 since Emily used my original card as a sample. Thanks, Em!!
Ever since I saw this stamp set, I wanted to stamp the tree as a Red Bud. When we had to put my 14 yo dog down last spring, all the trees were in bloom, and it was beautiful outside. The vet came to our house so Aspen could be where he was comfortable. He always hated going to the vet. I miss him so much, and this will always remind me of him.
I used a marker to color the trunk and selected branches on the tree. Then I stamped the flowers two or three times after inking the stamp to get a little variation in color. The grass is stamped in old olive and kiwi kiss.
I hope you like it!

Pretty colors. I am sorry about your doggie- I could not have related to caring much about a dog til we got our little Italian Greyhounds- and I love them so much- so I now understand how much a part of your life they can be! Sorry! But prety card!

K, this is just gorgeous! Beautifully clean lines and colors. I'm so taken with your Red Bud tree, which are really beautiful trees. Gorgeous card and from where I sit, I would have to think the color you used for the tree is such a great representation of the flowering buds. Beautiful testimony to your faithful companion, Aspen.
