I made this card for Holly McMillan's Awesome Acetate Challenge in the My Favorite Things Member Company Forum. We'd love to have you play along, too!
I love making acetate cards, but they are a bear to photograph. There is a little bit of a frosty look to the acetate from the lighting, but in real life, it's crystal clear. Hope you get the idea!
I took a 6 1/2" square piece of heavy acetate and folded it in half to make the card base. The Cool Caribbean rectangle was cut with Nestabilities, and the turquoise mat was hand-trimmed. There is another Cool Caribbean rectangle attached on the back side of the card front to hide any adhesive. (Like a sandwich: caribbean, turquoise, acetate, caribbean.) I repeated that on the card inside. The letters are from Bling 'Bet by My Favorite Things. I stamped the circles on the background in white Staz-On using an image from MFT's Let's Go For A walk set.
