Hi! This card was made for today's Ways To Use It Challenge: Embellishment Pile-Up!
Speedy the Cat found a frog in our small pond outside the picture window! He has spent all morning running from my stampin room to the window in to check on his frog! Yes, it's cold here in Jacksonville, but for some reason, there is a GREEN frog swimming around in the pond! WIERD!
So, I was inspired to use my froggie stamp. I had this awesome embossed designer paper from Club Scrap sitting on my stampin' table and that was it! I HAD to use it for the base. The orange designer paper is from K&Company's new Que Sera Sera.
The flower is a big Prima. The yellow circle was punched with a 1 1/4" circle punch. The white is a Martha Stewart flower punch from WalMart. The orange disk is a button. The Gold flower is a button with the shank cut off.
The image was stamped in Noir Black Palette Hybrid Ink and colored in with Copic Markers. I added a dot to the eyes with Inkssentials pen. The image was cut out and when I started looking at it, I decided it would be better BEHIND the flower. So, I stamped the image again and colored the "hands" and cut them out. They are GLUED to the flower!
The leaves are Primas. The GOLD leaves are METAL charms let over from an old scraf I used to wear...Back in my former Corporate Life.

Ah yes....the Corporate life of days gone by....must say I don't miss the high heels LOL.
Cute card. That little frog reminds me of the ones we used to see in Costa Rica all the time when I was a kid growing up there. What a wonderful springboard into my childhood memories - thank you Great bright colours are perfect for this card too. Well done!
