Hey everyone:

I finally decided to use an original 1899 newspaper advertisement for a then well known Rochester NY company, Curtice Brother's Soup. No, I was not around to actually taste this stuff!

I thought maybe you grew up in a soup factory. Side benefit is, you'd always have something to eat!

I like that label, very nice layout and pretty colors.

This is beautiful. I love the colors of your designer paper and gorgeous ribbon. You were much too young to have soup but how nice someone saved a newspaper from the year you were born. Just a terrific creation here!!!

So, I miss being on here for awhile and what do I find??? HA - I find Anne Ryan artwork! What a cool label, how the heck did it stay in such great shape for that many years? I need the secret..... no, actually, my face needs to know the secret for such great preservation.

Oh Anne this is so cool, and WOW!! would you look at that stitching! Something you won't see on my cards, I'd sew my fingers together..I have enough problems undoing the glue off of them.. hehe

Fantastic card, Anne! Your color choice highlights the vintage label. And the embellishments are so pretty themselves yet they don't detract from the image. I especially love the flower with little clock center and the ribbon. TFS!
