 | | Here's my page for the challenge to document an event where the photos tell a story. There was a sketch to use, also.
I turned the sketch sideways since my photos are portrait and then had to do a bit of rearranging. I just scrapped Christmas Eve for the K challenge so I used the same colours, papers and stamps from that lo so they'd kind of go together.
I put the journaling on the tag on the right - but put a stop so part of it is always sticking out. The journaling reads: "On Christmas morning, we opened our stockings and had Cheerios – by your request. Then we opened all of our other presents – those from Mum and Dad, our friends and Dad’s relatives.
It took us nearly all morning as we stopped to play with every one. Your belief that you were getting a bull dozer, subsided when you opened “Biffie” the garbage truck and the excavator. Then you thought you were getting more “mighty machines”.
After playing all day at home, we went to Grand ma and PapaÂ’s for turkey dinner. You chose some toys to take along in your new bag, but as we tried to leave, you kept adding more and more so it was so full you could hardly carry it. We could see how exhausted you were, but you still had to have Grandma play with all your toys before we could go home." |
