One of the guys I work with is a student, still living at home with his folks. On Thursday he said that he had been telling his mum that I made cards, and she would like three thank-yous, one of which was to be suitable for a guy. No problem with the other ones from my stock, and I did convert my croc birthday from 2 sketches back into a thank-you, but I also made this as an option.
Last time I decoupaged Snoopy I used some lovely photo paper for the background - but it was the only sheet I had, and I used the only quarter of it that was the right perspective to use with Snoopy.
So I decided that Lovely as A Tree would make a good background. The scored card was left from the teapot challenge two weeks ago, when my scorer slipped slightly.
I stamped Snoopy 3 times, coloured with H2Os and paper-toled him. I stamped the banner using Lots of Thoughts, sponged the edges with red and layered it onto beige card.
For the base I stamped the trees in black and coloured them with chalk pastels. Added a couple of cloud templates in the sky area and chalked it too. Then I just added an eyelet and some silver cord to the banner and assembled the card.
