I checked out Michelle Zindorf's blog and she did this beautiful bookmark which you can see here:Blogs at Splitcoaststampers. I used her technique but tried my own stamps and color combos. Stamped the image on white and colored it with markers. applied a versamark pen to the image and embossed with clear EP. Then I brayered Apricot Appeal after masking off the ground with a post it note. Got a little darker look by brayering on Morning Merigold and then sponged very lightly with Vintage Photo distress ink. I am so sorry but I can't remember which ink I used for the ground!!! The corner border stamp came from the same clear stamps set as the image and I stamped them with Craft Pumpkin Pie and embossed with clear EP. I use a large scallop decrative sizzors to do the ticket punch in the corners. Used a metalic marker to run a border along all the edges. Mounted the pain panel onto orange CS and did the edges the same way. I punched the hole which turned out bigger than any of the eyelets that I have so I just left it plain and ran a ribbon through it. I'm trying again but I'll do a little better planning 2nd time around. Geesh.

Oh Sistah! How do y'all say 'chic' in Texas? Man, your coloring is great! Fancy-Schmancy corners too! I love the Zin bg and perfect ribbon. Nice job Sistah!
