This is my card for today's Sketch Challenge.
It's a lovely sketch, and I had in mind some sort of floral card when I saw it this morning.
But then I had to go and do the big shopping because DH needs the car on Friday morning, and I have a migraine coming on, so it's a quick and easy non-floral card.
Stamp Muse sent me some lovely papers. The Cuttlebugged background is one of them, Currency card-stock, and a folder I don't have. I thought it would work well with the crocodile from Wild About You.
The base is a dark green Core'dinations. Then the Currency, matted onto some petrol/teal card. Then the two little panels, matted onto the same green as the base layer, and up on thick foam tape. I masked a cloud for the top panel and then rubbed it with chalk pastels. For the bottom panel I stamped the waves from Shore Thing with Versamark and added green and blue chalk. Then it was just a case of adding the crocodile and a birthday balloon, a bit of hemp and Turquoise Stickles round all the green edges.
Stickles and all, I think it will do fine for another masculine birthday card, with a message inside along the lines of *to a not-so-old crock* if it's someone I know well enough.
