I combined the first two Verve Looking for Love challenges using the sketch and the color combo of riding hood red, kraft and blush blossom. Blush is not one of my fave colors. In fact I think the only time I have used it is to make paper dolls.
This went together pretty quickly since I didn't have to think about the colors or layout. I just stamped a single flower and the sentiment then cut and matted. I added a ribbon to the next panel and adhered that to the scalloped panel. I embossed the background.
I was stuck for an embellishment down the side as in the sketch. All my bling was either the wrong color or size and just seemed too shiny for this simple card. I was about to give up when I remembered that I just bought this Martha Stewart punch the other day and hadn't used it yet. Just right!
