Sharon's challenge on Friday was to use a new toy.
I had recently received the new Pieceabilitie Ric Rac
die from Spellbinders, so I decided to use it for the challenge.
I cut a piece of cream color card stock and scored it with my Scor-Pal to make a 5.5x5.5 card. I cut a piece of textured beige 1/4 inch less and used my ticket punch on the corners for interest. Then I did the same with the striped paper. I found this beautiful beige paisley in my stash that blended nicely with the other colors. I cut the heart with my Cricut using Plaintin Schoolbook cartridge. I pierced the heart with my piercing tool all around the outside edge. I then stamped the words Happy Birthday using my Veramark stamp pad and embossed with with Ranger's Fine Embossing Gold powder. I cut another heart out of the textured beige and popped up the paisley with some Dimensionals.
The Spellbinders Pieceabiltiies Ric Rack die was used to cut the border and I used the holes on the die to make the pierced design. I stamped the beige ribbon with my Little Words Stamp and
adhered it with Scor-Pal tape.
