 | | What great colours to work with for this challenge, although I have to be honest and admit that I wasn't overly familiar with some of them so had to refer to the 'Stampers Bible' and check with my SU Catalogue...and I liked what I saw!!
I have made this card for a special SCS friend who has a birthday in January, when I saw the colours for the challenge I knew thay would be perfect for what I was wanting to do. I have also been inspired to do a few more Magnolia's by my friend Lim, her gallery is just amazing, I love her use of embellishments and DP's....if you are not familiar with it, take a look and you will see what I mean

I wanted this Tilda to be personalised and as this lady is a dog lover, I just had to add the cute little pup (who just happens to be the right breed). I did a lot of ripping, inking and sponging on this one. Tilda is popped up on 3D foam tape, as is the pup. The flowers are chalked, to bring them into the right colour range....Tilda is also coloured with dry and wet chalks, and a blender pen. Although she probably is more a Christmas stamp, with a quick snip of the scissors her holly hair ties were gone and ....waa-la, she's good for all seasons...I just love her tights!!!
I will be posting her in the next week and if you are wondering who it is, a little hint - one of the flowers is symbolic...it is a Daisy - could that be the dog's name... I wonder!!!??
Well thanks for looking, I hope you've liked what you have seen. Thanks for your comments they are such a 'buzz' for me!! |
