Poster: magic-boxes

Made for someone who has a passion for travel and India.
The windows were cut using the Sizzix small tag die.
I used twinkling H2Os to tint the window backing - turquoise and purple.

Keywords: Exploding box stamping and embossing.

Stamps: Butterflies and background stamps I made myself. The background stamps were based on Indian hand paintings.

Paper: Black, turqoise pearlescent and gold mirror board.

Ink: VersaMark clear embossed with mirror gold embossing powder.

Accessories: Purple and amber square acrylic gemstones. Purple flower acrylic gemstones.

Techniques: stamping, embossing and die cutting.

This is stunning. I love the colors. How are the butterfly's attached? It looks like you used strips of acetate. I can't believe you made the stamps for the background and the butterflies yourself. You are so talented.

This is exquisite.

Hadn't thought of acetate suspension within one of these exploding boxes. The butterflies look very delicate, were they stamped onto vellum rather than card.

The colour scheme certainly looks Indian. Your friend is very lucky.
