Hi everyone, this is my card for today's Try a New Technique Challenge.. Faux Silk.. I did some extra coloring and sponging on this to make the flower really pop. This is what I did.
Base card is Elegant Eggplant, next layer is Whisper White, then I added a piece of DCWV from the Old World Stack. For the image, I stamped my image on the tissue paper, and followed her instructions. On the Whisper White layer I stamped the image and then colored it with SU Markers, thinking that the colors would show through the tissue paper. When I layered it, it just didn't come through the way I wanted it too, so I colored the image on the tissue paper too. After I glued these two layers together, I sponged around the image with Elegant Eggplant. Then layered again on Whisper White and Elegant Eggplant. Added Bow, Jewels, and Faux Pearls. Thanks for looking..
