If you've grown up with someone that lived through the depression, you know how much they saved everything. My mother was such a person...saving aluminum foil from TV dinners, bread bags...I could go on and on! When she died 9 yrs ago, my brother and I through out tons of foil pieces, bread bags...
and you want to know the sad thing.......I'VE TURNED INTO MY MOTHER!!! Only now I use what I save for craft stuff! Oh, she would be proud!! LOL
The recycled stuff:
cardboard from packing
flowers from an old spray
tatted edging (now this she might not approve of!) taken off pillow cases from long ago
pearls from my Christmas decorations
and scraps of paper for the punched pieces
tfl=)

Fabulous Dawn. I know indeed about growing up with depression babies. Wow! I save too much, but not bread bags or foil. Great use of all the goodies my dear!

My mom is a depression era kid...she saves too, so maybe I got it honest!
I love love love what you have done here! The subtle print, the beautiful tatting (I want to learn how to do that! I have a shuttle!), the gorgeous bouquet...all of it is gorgeous! How do you manage to make torn up boxes look gorgeous?! LOL

Wow! Super saver/recycler! Way to go, Miss Dawn! Same scenario with my mom saving everything as she grew up during the depression. My husband and I chuckle over the fact that I can't throw out aluminum foil without using it at least twice!!

Super sweet Dawn. I love the story behind it. This is such a pretty arrangement of treasures. Love the stamp you used ever so softly. Beautiful. My grandma was like this too. TFS
