Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
Our family has been VERY busy for the past 6 weeks. You see, Markie has a HUGE report on Giant Pandas due on Thursday, and a TWELVE MINUTE ORAL report due the same day. Then, on Monday, he was informed that the children needed a "keepsake" for the audience! WHAT???? So....you can imagine the tears, whining, and fussing going on...And that was just Speedy the CAT! LOL! Seriously...Markie was so upset that we ended up staying up until 1:30AM this morning making Chinese Take Out Boxes for his class! Oh, what a mother will do for her children, right?
Since I was already up, I decided to work on this card. The rose and leaf images were stamped in VersaMark onto watercolor paper. The images were then embossed in Copper. Markers were used to color in the images and an aqua painter to blend the colors.
The images were cut out and adhered to the card with foam tape.

Beautiful! Awesome coloring!
And yes, what we do for our kids! Mine has been up twice. Why go to bed? I even got some Wish RAKs stamped. Next is teacher gifts.
