Amazing that this card even got done! So much going on here at my house. Got home from work, started this card and had to deal with the power going off three times! I now have no phone lines, all my many clocks are blinking, and DD is moving back home for a few months! So, all my craft supplies that were in her room are now in the garage! Oh yeah, did I mention we leave Sunday for a short vacation? Yikes! So much to do, so many problems to fix.....but by gum I got this card posted!!! Will be my last one for a few days, hopefully I will still be able to comment on all your beautiful cards as I am taking my lap top. Just have to figure out the internet thing at the hotel. So quickly before I lose power again, here's what I did.....
Made my bg by stamping different colored snowflakes on glossy cs, embossing them. Then I did the alcohol technique over them which actually worked. In fact, it is really pretty IRL! Give is a try, you'll like it!
Took a square of white cs, folded it, cut it, making it into a snowflake of old. Dragged the ink pad over it, put silver on the edges then versa marked and eb with the holographic ep.
On the edges of a white card, I stamped the little snowflakes and balls, embossed with clear and white ep.
Put it altogether, added my plastic snowflake bling. Hope you like it!........TFL :0)

Okay now I am miffed... I tried to make a paper snowflake for 2 hours this morning. I so wanted to make one like this. I even printed a pattern. Ugh. This is awesome. I finally gave up. Terrific background. Love the colors. I will miss your creations Hurry back. Now your DD can cook dinner each night while you stamp. Oh yeah and clean too. That's the ticket. LOL.

You did your job on this one!!! It really reminds me of the fun snowflakes we used to do years ago The colors are just beautiful... Well done Cathy!
Enjoy your daughter being at home with you.... A baker I can smell the cookies already!
It's 14 degrees here right now so stamps in the garage wouldn't be such a good idea..
Have fun on your mini vacation!!!!!
