I'm back from my short vacation. Hope I haven't lost my mojo! Had a great time in Tiburon up by Sausalito. We took our road bikes, or I should say by DH took his new bike, I borrowed my DD. They have such great paths by the ocean to ride on and they're FLAT! It was my kind of riding with only a few occasional hills. We even rode over the Golden Gate Bridge. Fun! Fun! Our place had a heated pool and spa so we got to do some swimming instead of cleaning! Spent one day at Stinson Beach, was a little to cold for DH to boogie board so we just sat, relaxed and fed the crazy sea gulls! Other than I ate too much, it was a very relaxing trip. So.......on to the card details......
I had a left over panel of glossy linen cs that I had done alcohol inks on, so I used it for the bg.
Thought I would make a little winter scene in hopes that it will bring snow to the Sierras so my DH can try out his new snowboard! So I drew a cave with the front half of a polar bear and penguin emerging from it. At least I hope that is how it looks! LOL
Sponged the colors on my cave, added snow with liquid applique. (finally got a new supply!) Stamped my stick tree, clear eb it. Stamped the image on w/c paper colored with re-inkers, cut out, cut in half and popped up.
Sponged my snowy hills, stamped the pine trees. Put a circle mask for the moon. Sponged three different blues for the sky. Stamped itty bitty bg with versa mark and white eb for the snow drops. Doodled the edges and put it all together on a white card. Well, glad to be back making cards after my short break!.....Hope you like it!.......TFL :0)
