In his youth, Howard (at the Fateful Wait Rest Home), was a big strong man. He worked in the quarries with his older brother Herman, and could they wield sledge hammers! They made very little money, so the first birthday to come around, Howard gave Herman a beautiful rock from the quarry that he dug himself. What a lovely gift! And so the tradition was born!
Truism: The older you get, the less you care about presents, and the more you enjoy the cake and ice cream.
