I made this for Beate's Inspiration challenge today - Blogs at Splitcoaststampers.
I used the colours and the grassy shapes. I did mean to look out some bamboo type paper that might have worked well as one layer, but it wasn't easy to find and I didn't spent a long time looking.
The base is a white card, the next layer is sort of olive green, embossed and with the corners punched.
I was going to do the leaf spray from Pocket Silhouettes on a white square, and use the chipboard frame for the sentiment, but in the end it didn't work out like that. The chipboard is painted with blue acrylic, and then stamped with another Pocket Silhouettes stamp in Versamark and embossed with clear EP. The leaf spray is stamped with Encore Bronze and embossed. I couldn't really tell from the picture whether it was black or really dark brown but it looked a bit metallic, so I went with the bronze.
The sentiment was stamped with a blue Marvy marker onto white, and I used the same corner punch that I had used on the embossed layer. I then matted it onto some blue card and rounded the corners. I punched two holes with a slot punch and threaded some grosgrain ribbon through, and added a knot. That's about it.
