It's time for another DD/DDA challenge...this one issued by Waterpixie (aka Emily).
This month we were challenged to make a Halloween-themed card or treat holder that did not contain pumpkin images...and had to use googlie eyes!
Our neighborhood gets a kick out of *booing* each other...no one started it yet this year, so we left this little basket on our next door neighbor's doorstep to get it going! For more info on *booing*, click here.
I traced my ghost on whisper white cardstock; the pattern for the ghost can be found here. I didn't have to enlarge him or anything; he's sized to fit on a 1/4 sheet of 8.5 x 11" cardstock...perfect! I cut him out so that the top of his head (if ghosts have heads?!) so that the fold of the card was still intact. I covered him with heat-and-stick powder and then fun flock...fun stuff! He's finished off with googlie eyes...that I've had on hand for years but never used!
I used a candy stick hot glued in between the cardstock layers to be able to stick him into the candy (you can find these at your big box craft store). The poem is just printed on regular copy paper (don't you love the line running through the middle?! LOVE my printer )
Happy Halloween!

Thanks for sharing this and for all the links to each part of it! Our new neighborhood is not boo-ing back to us and my daughter is sad...the directions we gave say to continue to boo each other but.....
