Ok, now I'm depressed...This is my first card this week and I made it for tonight's LSC190, having read the requirements rapidly at work this afternoon. I like limited supplies as I'm not very gifted using "embellishments". Didn't know whether I would play tonight as I got a bunch of books from the library. One of them had a really cool cover...a prominent green fir tree and a background of a grey-toned forest. Even the sky was greyish. Then the title was at the bottom in red. Was drawn to it and this card is the result.
I just checked the instructions...there is no blue in this card! Could you pretend that I used a hint of grey/blue in the sky?

I can definitely pretend I see lots of gray blue in that sky! This is a gorgeous scene! I need to get more trees! I love scenes and i really don't have enough elements to complete them! This is just wonderful!

Pretend what?? On my computer I assumed it was grey/blue! This is just gorgeous! I love that you got it to look so misty. That is my favourite part of winter; snow falling through the trees, when everything is quiet and still, and a beautiful misty grey. Actually, I think it is the ONLY part I like, lol. Well, I have to concede that Christmas is good too, of course, so what better than a misty, snowy Christmas card!

WOW!
This is beautiful!
I love how you framed the main "Blue Spruce"
Did you sketch them yourself or are they a stamp?
They certainly add a wonderful dimension to your creation here!

I see gray blue in the bg! What an awesome winter scene! Love all the different trees - really does look like a silent forest with the snow. Great card.
