This is the final photo of my "spring" card. I love making spring cards especially with mostly white fronts like this one. See the outside photo here...
Using a mostly white front only adds to the suprise and "wow" of the "springy" element inside. What is so cool about the image on the spring is that when you ope the card, it just automatically "wiggles" or "springs" out at you. I love that!
Here's how I did it...
1. Use any super thing craft wire (sorry, I lost my pkg and I can't remember the gauge.)
2. Wrap it around a pencil or pen at least FIVE TIMES but no more than seven or eight.
3. Scotch tape the little wire spring to the back of your cut or punched element.
4. Using the Scalloped Circle Punch (or other punch of choice) punch coordinating CS. Cut a "slit" into the punched CS. Slide opposite end of the wire spring into the "slit."
5. Adhere to card and let the "springyness" begin!
This is really fun with a b-day cake or balloon inside!
