The challenge was to take a song title as the inspiration for your card.
I am part of generation X - as a result I really like Grunge music. One of my favorite songs to listen to when I am having a tough time at work is Nirvana's "Come as You Are" - "Come, as you are, as you were, as I want you to be, as a friend, as a friend, as an old memory..."
What was great about this challenge is that my stamping style really fits with the music. I love distressing and sponging...totally reminds me of the whole grunge scene. Can you see that I even pulled out the flannel plaid background stamp?
Thanks for looking!

I love it, Stacey. It's very easy to see the inspiration from the song. Beautiful distressed background. Perfect placement of the slot punch pieces. Thanks for playing.

Wow, Stacey, this is a new style for you or at least IMHO--this is so well done. I love the distresssing. I am envious as I don't do it well--YET! Beautiful card. Grunge music and Nirvana, huh? LOL
