Thank you, Julia, for an easy on the brain challenge today! With our new homeschool year beginning this week and many extra activities, I haven't had much time to be creative lately. However, I did need a going away card that fit perfectly into the WT.
I love this exuberant dandelion from Serenity Stamps...I inked it with Brilliance Moonlight white and added spots of white with the Sakura gel pen. I colored the stem with a Marvy olive green marker. The BEST WISHES sentiment is from Crafty Secrets card sentiments set. It was inked with VersaColor Black and embossed in clear. The card base is PTI dark chocolate that had the SU plaid bg stamped on top and embossed. I rounded my corners and matted with white. The ribbon is a lovely picot edged wire ribbon. I made my little tag with M's punch and added a "U" rub-on from MME's Bohemia collection. The tiny safety pin is from MM in baby blue.
"U" is for Eunice, a young woman at work, who leaves to finish her nursing degree. Her name is from the Greek which means good and victory. I am so proud of her! And I want her to know that.
Thanks for looking and as always your wonderful comments!

So glad to see you back in the challenges! Eunice, no doubt, will be so delighted to open a card like - all to wish her well on her journey. She'll know how proud you are of her as soon as she opens this work of art, my friend.

Susan, this is just lovely. It's so simple but just perfect in your choice of embellishments. Love that sentiment, I have that one! I think your friend will be touched with this. Have a great day.
