 | | I've visited Denise's gallery before and it's just wonderful! I chose her Autumn to case. Since her card was for a sketch challenge, I had to change the layout a bit. I also changed the images and colors. I liked the dots so I kept them, but I had to make my own stamp to do this. So that's not dp you see, those are my bgs made from scratch.
The tree and sentiment (and leftover rubber I used to make the dot bg) are from FireCracker Designs. If you want to see how I did this dot bg stamp you can see it on my blog: The Write Stuff.
The bg pieces and the image are all on vanilla c/s. I stamped the tree first w/ the library green ink, then used a positioner to restamp only the tree using the Kpad. The edges are sponged.
I made my bg stamp and stamped it using the Kpad. Then I crumpled up a piece of paper and inked it w/ the Kpad and used this to give it the distressed look. Then I sponged on the gold and orange colors of the Kpad and the green around the edges. All piece are matted w/ the NQN.
The band was sponged and distressed then bugged, then I added the green ink over the embossed lines. The seniment was stamped, cut out, and attached to two nestie pieces. Brads were added on the left side of the band. TFL
