This is the reverse or reflection technique. I cased the card layout from another lady on this site. I used a brayer to transfer the trees in Going Gray onto my glossy cardstock. Then I stamped the trees above in Basic Black. Then I sponged in Brocade Blue for water and sky and Mellow Moss for grass. To get the water to shimmery I embossed the water using the glassy glaze embossing powder. I used my stipple brush to apply the Versamark ink so it gives it a watery look. It looks more impressive in person.

Absolutely beautiful. I need help in regard to using the brayer and what you mean by transferring it. Can't you just stamp trees with going gray ink? Please let me know. It's so pretty and I finally bought the set. [email protected]

This card is beautiful but I don't quite understand the technique. Can you send me more instructions on how to do this. I use velum and can get the same effect but this looks like it might be less complicated. [email protected]
