 | | I received Dogwalkabella in a Rak (thanks Jessica) but hadn't used it yet because I wasn't sure what kind of layout I could use such a big image on. Then I saw this week's sketch. Perfect. I bought this patterned paper to make a sb page, but it was calling my name when I was trying to come up with a color scheme for this image. I used the cuttlebug swiss dots for the bottom strip (the reverse of the striped paper) and an interesting thing happened. The embossing exposed the white inner core of the paper on the dots. I think that's cool. With such a big blank space on one side, I needed a big sentiment. This nesties scallop (which I also embossed) was also a Rak (thanks Stacy). I spaced the sentiment to fit a little flower punch that coordinates with Bella's bag. I'm really pleased with how this one came out. |
