I came up with, what I think, is an easier way of assembling these baskets.
--First of all, even if you use DSP for the basket, cut the bottom piece (the round circle with all the little tabs) out of cardstock. It helps the basket keep it's shape so much better.
--After you've cut the bottom, fold all the little tabs up so they are at a 90 degree angle.
--Run a strip of Sticky Strip around all the tabs (keep them at the 90 degree angle while do this so they stand up).
--Put one side of the basket together (so that it lays flat on your work surface), again using sticky strip to make sure it stays together. Put another strip of Sticky Strip on the un-attached side of the Basket but don't remove the backing yet.
--Remove the red Sticky Strip backing from the basket bottom (with the tabs). With your half-assembled basket flat on the table, align the basket bottom with the bottom edge of the basket. Important -- begin about 1" from the edge of the basket.
--Slowly and carefully, "roll" the basket bottom along the edge of the basket. As you roll, the Sticky Strip will adhere to the basket. Keep rolling until the entire thing is attached.
--Peel off the red backing from the Sticky Strip that is on the last edge of the basket and adhere.
--Put your hand inside the basket and press down on all seams to be sure the Sticky Strip is well adhered.
