I made this for my in-laws for their new kitchen. Believe it or not, I do not own a cuttlebug/cricut/cutting machine, so I fussy cut the two scrolls on the side. As I did this, I told myself it was time to get a cricut or something!! The font for the dates and months was made on the computer (Brush Stroke). It's all magnetic- there are two other clipboards in my gallery that you can see details of how everything is put together (it's with washers and magnets). TFL

Oh my goodness, this is SO cool!
GREAT job on cutting the scrolls too, hehe. I bet that took forever! They look lovely! ( I refuse to buy a Cricut...you know how many stamps you can get for 300.00?!)

This is fantastic! I can't believe you cut out these scrolls. I think I would have just stamped it.
Can you tell me how you made the whole thing magnetic? I assume the clipboard itself was either pressed wood, or acrylic plastic. How did you make it magnetic?
