 | | After watching Project Runway, I wanted DH to give me a challenge. He said, "okay, I want you to make me a blue and green card. And I want it to look very Victorian. You have eight hours to complete it."
YUCK!! I can't stand blue and green. But those are his favourite colours; I shoulda known! I paired it with Wednesday's sketch challenge. Fortunately, he didn't object to bits of black and red.
The only paper I used was cream paper. I hate the blue and green coloured papers I have (bought them for DH, but they are neon and very decidedly NOT Victorian colours), so I decided to sponge the colours instead of using the coloured papers. Also, this way, the blue and green would be less ugly with a warm cream undertone.
The harlequins are from Purple Onion Designs.
Edited to add: DH liked it very much! |
