I used a piece of US White to do the Smackin'Acetate technique on this one. Then I crinkled it up and DTP over it. What a fun technique Smackin' Acetate is.

I hadn't heard of it before yesterday either. It's very easy. Just take a piece of acetate (transparency/overheard projector sheet you can purchase at Office Depot) cut the same size as the piece of card stock you're using. I used a quarter sheet and then trimmed down the cs after. Using the brush end of your markers color on the acetate randomly. For this one I did 4 colors on the diagonal but you could lay colors randomly for a different effect. Then mist the acetate with some water to get it wet and make the colors run. Now flip lay it (smack it) onto your card stock and press the colors around with your fingers until they are blended as you want them. Carefully lift the acetate from the CS and wipe it off for the next use. Lay a stamp set or book on the card stock while it dries so it doesn't curl up. This technique works okay with Ultrasmooth White card stock but works better with glossy. Have fun!
