This is the first time I have tried this technique and I really like it. My first attempt I moved the image too far, so this is my second attempt. still need some practice, but I like the effect. I was too tired to do much embellishing, but I wanted to get in on this challenge.
The layer under the blue looks like black in the photo, but it is actually Not Quite Navy.

beautiful..... I love the stamp set you used, I was thinking using it for my card.... Great job with the technique challenge. Really like you colour combo and lacy scalloped edges. tfs

I love this stamp set, I can't wait to try the technique myself! The effect is more clear to me than the sample I looked at with the announcement of the technique!

Love the blue with the sponged edging, and what you have done with the border punch. It's a lovely card altogether, in fact
And I felt that this technique actually suits a less-is-more type treatment - the embossed panels are so eyecatching on their own that they don't need too many embellishments.
