This is for Jacqueline's challenge to be inspired by your favorite Children;s book. Mine was always The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstien. I just loved the simple message of giving and unconditional love. My kids think it's too sad though!
Great challenge Jacq! PS Piper looks fabulous tonight!

Awesome recreation of the book cover Denise - I'd know it was that story right away, even without seeing the book cover. Thanks for playing in my challenge. Oh, and Piper says "woof-woof".

So. Perfect. And this book makes me cry, but it's the good kind.

I've never read The Giving Tree, but I love Shel Silverstein! My girls loved his book of poems when they were younger. Your card is too sweet. Love that tree, and the sentiment is just perfect!

It is a bit too sad for little ones. Older kids really get the message. Nice crad...great representation of the book!
