How do you make an acetate treat box when you don't have acetate? Hmmmm....
Use vellum. I'd had this piece of textured vellum in my stash for years and I finally decided to use it today. I started this little box with the vellum and when I had cut, scored, and glued it, I was reminded of Japanese shoji screens, so I decided to go simple with the rest of it. I used the green paper from bali breeze, and embrace life colored with kiwi kiss and old olive. Inside I have filled it with some tea bags to give to my mother.
Thanks for looking!

I would never have though of using vellum! Looks great with the scored lines and it does look Asian so you decorated it perfectly! lLove it!
