I had heard people talking about these Post It note keychains, and had no clue what they were. So, I decided to check it out. Man oh man, these are so cool! This is the first one that I have ever made, and I will definitely be making more!
I followed Angie Kennedy Juda's Stampin' Academy tutorial for making these little gems: http://chicnscratch.typepad.com/stam...t-notes-k.html. The Post-It notes I used measure 2" x 3". I cut a piece of baja breeze cs measuring 2-1/8" x 6-1/4". I scored it at 3-1/16" and 3-3/16", to create the spine. I stamped the image from Boho Backgrounds on the baja breeze cs in chocolate chip ink. I then folded the the cs at the score lines, and covered the stack of Post It notes. I used the crop-a-dile to to punch a hole through the stack and put the book ring through it. I stamped the flower from One of a Kind on a piece of watercolor paper with basic brown ink. I used blender pens with my pink pirouette and baja breeze ink pads to color the image. I stamped the trio of flowers on a piece of pink pirouette cs with chocolate chip ink, and punched them out with the Boho Blossoms punch. I adhered one of the flowers to the center of the big flower and put a clear rhinestone brad (from the Pretties Kit) through the center of the flowers. I stamped the sentiment (from One of a Kind) on whisper white cs with baja breeze ink, and punched it out with the word window punch. I ran the edges in my choc. chip ink pad, and then adhered it to the piece of baja breeze cs. I adhered the flower with a dimensional. I tied 3 pieces of ribbon around the book ring- 5/8" choc. chip grosgrain, 5/8" pink pirouette striped grosgrain, and 5/8" baja breeze striped grosgrain.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
