My poor Papertrey Ink sets have been feeling very neglected, so I decided to pull them out. For this card, I used Out on a Limb (revised) and Out on a Limb Sentiments.
The colors I used are: close to cocoa and sweet blush (PTI). This was one of those cards that I just kinda' went with what felt right regards to the layout and embellishments. I knew that I wanted to make the panel that the limb was stamped on go completely across the card front, so the image would fit! I then added the matted layers under it, and decided that a scalloped border would look nice. I used my SU! scalloped edge punch to create the scalloped borders. I used the Weathered bg (so sad that this is retired) on the sweet blush panel. I inked it up with close to cocoa and stamped it off once before stamping on the blush. I stamped the branch image (PTI's Out on a Limb) on whisper white cs in close to cocoa ink, and the flowers were then stamped in sweet blush ink (PTI). I stamped the sentiment in close to cocoa ink and used the 1" circle punch to cut it out. I framed it with the circle frame from the styled silver hodgepodge hardware. I thought the sweet blush swiss dot ribbon (PTI) would be perfect with this card, so I added the close to cocoa strip across the bottom and tied the ribbon around it.
I don't usually like the cards that I make without a plan, but I am really happy with how this one turned out. Thanks so much for looking!

Love the different looks to all the layers. This is beautiful. So soft and elegant!
