Hello and thank you for looking at one of my latest cards. This card was created using the "Designer Garden" set, recently released by Clear Dollar Stamps and K&Co. "Classic Bailey" mat pad.
The focal image was stamped on Paper Trey's gorgeous white cardstock using SU! Turquoise Teal, Tempting Turquoise, Adirondack Expresso and Caramel inks. The white inner layer was sponged around the edges with Adirondack Expresso and Caramel inks. I doodled dashes with a Brown Sharpie pen. I restamped the Tempting Turquoise and Taken with Teal flowers, cut them out and popped them up on dimensionals. The brown mat around the image was sponged with Adirondack Expresso around the edges and I doodled white dots with a Signo gel pen. The outer mat's corners were punched with the Marvy Southwestern notch punch. I sponged the edges of that mat with Taken with Teal, and doodled gold dots with a Zig Gold Writer Pen. I also edged this mat with the same gold pen. All 3 mats were popped up on dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped with Adirondack Pitch Black onto Paper Trey White Cardstock and then sponged with SU! Taken with Teal and Adirondack Carmel & Expresso around the edge. The sentiment mat was sponged around the edge with SU! Taken with Teal and I doodled Gold Dots with a Zig Writer Pen. I anchored the double oval sentiment with an amber colored moonstone brad. The sentiment was also popped up on a dimensional.
The background of the card is split between the K&Co. "Classic Bailey" paisley and a coordinating beige piece that I ran through the Cuttlebug with the Birds and Swirls Embossing Folder. I overstamped one of the birds that came with the Clear Dollar Stamps set in Adirondack Expresson on top the embossing. I finished off the card with a 5/8" Milk Chocolate Satin Ribbon Bow.
