Wow,,, that is really nice,,, love the layers with the ribbon and the background. It makes a very nice masculine card.

This is so cool! I love the sponge daubers on the backgruond. I'm sorry that I didn't follow how you made the background plaid page. Do you mind to clarify it for me? The plaid lines look greenish to me. Are they really black? Did you use daubers with black ink and then rub the chalk over it? This is so coooool! Please let me know. Thanks!!

I see what you mean about the plaid lines looking greenish, must be the scan... it's Craft Basic Black applied with a dauber.. using the wet Black dauber, I made the black swirls. Once they were dry, I rubbed creamy caramel chalk all over the background with a clean dauber... Hope this explains better and thanks so much for the feedback! Cindy
PS, c caramel is also rubbed around the tree....

Cindy, I really love this card. The caramel and black are so soothing together! Your layering with the added ribbon is perfection!! I hope you will have one to show at the meeting on Sunday...I want to see this in person because I KNOW it's even more beautiful!!!! TFS.
